Client Guidelines – Abayomi Connect

Welcome to Abayomi Connect, a community-based service platform designed to strengthen community vitality by connecting people through trusted services, shared skills, and meaningful exchanges.

These guidelines are here to help ensure a safe, respectful, and transparent experience for everyone involved.

1. How Abayomi Connect Works

Abayomi Connect operates through a credit-based system.

  • Credits are purchased on the Buy Credits page
  • Each credit equals USD $10
  • Credits are redeemed by applying a unique credit code (coupon) at checkout
  • Each credit code is valid for one-time use only and must be used in a single order

You may combine multiple services in one purchase, as long as the total credits required match the credits you apply.

Example:
A single order may include cleaning, babysitting, and companion services, even if they occur on different dates.

2. Purchasing and Using Credits

  • You may purchase any number of credit packs
  • Each purchase generates a unique, single-use credit code
  • Credit codes do not generate change or remaining balances
  • Once a credit code is used, it becomes invalid
  • If a service requires prior assessment, the provider will indicate whether a consultation is needed before confirmation.

Scheduling with service providers happens after purchase, not during checkout.

3. Scheduling Services

After a service is purchased:

  • Clients and vendors must coordinate scheduling directly through the platform
  • Initial contact must happen within 24 hours of purchase
  • Dates, times, duration, and scope of service must be mutually agreed upon

Abayomi Connect does not schedule services on behalf of users.

4. Community Exchange Services (CES)

Community Exchange Services (CES) allow members to offer and receive services without monetary payment, using CES credits instead.

  • CES credits are earned by offering services through the CES program
  • CES credits may only be used for CES-listed services
  • CES credits cannot be converted into cash or standard service credits

Some CES initiatives may support community projects, educational programs, or social impact initiatives aligned with Abayomi’s mission.

5. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

  • Review vendor profiles carefully
  • Verify licenses, credentials, certifications, and insurance when applicable
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with service providers
  • Provide safe and accurate information about the service location
  • Leave honest reviews after services are completed

Abayomi Connect acts solely as a platform facilitator and does not supervise, guarantee, or insure services.

6. Reviews and Community Trust

Reviews are essential to maintaining a healthy and trustworthy community.

After a service is completed, clients are encouraged to:

  • Leave an honest review of the vendor and service
  • Rate their experience accurately
  • Share feedback that helps improve community standards

Reviews help build credibility, accountability, and community vitality.

7. Terms & Legal Agreement

By creating an account or completing a purchase on Abayomi Connect, you agree to the Abayomi Connect Terms & Conditions, including limitations of liability and dispute policies.
